(ORGANIC/FAIR TRADE)

This indigenous heirloom coffee comes from the award-winning cooperative in the tiny village of Banko Gotiti - in the sub-region of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia called Gedeb - recognized internationally for their natural sun-dried coffee. Prepared this way for thousands of years, harvested cherries are placed on raised beds to dry with the fruit (or pulp) left intact, allowing the nutrients and sugars to pass into the bean (or seed) during the process.
